Ten Favourite Walks
Walk 6: Scotney Castle and Bewl Water
The path north of the chicken runs at Combwell Farm has been diverted. The section of route AB (shown in black on the map) has been extinguished and section CB (shown in pink) has been created. When emerging from the wood at point C, walkers should turn right instead of continuing forward, follow the new path between the wood and a fence, then cross a short section of field to re-enter the wood at point B. From there follow "Follow yellow waymarks through wood..."
Walk 10: Emmetts Garden and French Street
The most northerly part of the route goes along a short section of lane. Walkers have been challenged when using it. Kent Ramblers' view is that this lane carries a public footpath and they have made an application to KCC to add the route to the definitive map. No challenges have been reported in the last couple of years.

Lydens Farm diversion (page 42): The footpath through Lydens Farm between Edenbridge and Hever has been diverted to avoid farm buildings converted into residences. At bottom of field, go through kissing gate (KG) and across next field. After crossing the next stile turn half left across field to go through KG in field corner. Through KG, turn right and follow right-hand field boundary for 200m to reach farm track. Turn left along track (now rejoining original route).
Hever footbridge removed (page 44): The footbridge mentioned in the third paragraph has been removed and will not be replaced. At car park take lane going south. Shortly turn right through KG into field. Bear left across field to reach road at stile.
