Ramble through the picturesque woodlands and orchards in and around the villages of Dunkirk, Boughton, Hernhill and Dargate, the setting in 1838 for the ‘Battle of Bossenden Wood’, the last armed uprising on English soil led by the charismatic, self-styled Sir William Courtenay.
A mildly undulating walk with mostly gates rather than stiles.
