9.5 mile full day walk from Alkham

This route starts with a steep climb out of the village towards Ellinge. We cross Fidge’s Wood and Cannon Wood, then pass through extensive farmland around Swanton. Return via Wickham Bushes, Lydden and Ewell Minnis. Farmland, woodland and plenty of hills. Bring a picnic lunch. Possible pub stop at the end.
