Barham

Meet outside the Village Hall, Barham. Please park considerately along the road. This walk climbs out of Barham along the Eastern side of the Valley with views across to the vineyards of the Simpson Wine Estate. Next we continue to Clip Gate Wood before descending steeply to cross the Valley at Breach close to the Fifth Trust Vineyard. We ascend through the woods on the Western side of the Valley to join the Elham Valley Way near Redoak, through Covert Wood and climb Jumping Downs to reach Redshawgate and return to Barham down Railway Hill. The walk is hilly. Eta return to Barham around 1pm. Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink.
