Blackheath Train Station to West India Quay DLR Station

This is a linear walk starting from Blackheath Train Station. We’ll walk across Greenwich Park and take the Greenwich Foot Tunnel onto the Isle of Dog. We follow the Thames Path along the river to Canary Wharf. Lunch is at the Wetherspoon in the Ledger Building. Option after lunch to visit the London Museum – Dockland next door, which offers a 400 years history of the River Thames, the growth of the Port of London and the docks' historical link to the Atlantic slave trade. It is deceptively large, well worth a visit and entry is free. Return by DLR West India Quay station.
