Borough Green - Old Soar Manor - Mereworth Woods

From the car park in Borough Green we head towards the village of Platt and then into Mereworth Woods. Coming out of the woods we head towards Old Soar Manor (a rare remaining structure of a late 13th century knight's dwelling). The site is open to the pubic and has free entrance. Returning to Borough Green we go through the village of Basted. There is an excellent coffee shop serving cake/snacks close to the car park at end.
