Bridge walk
This is a 10.5 mile walk from Bridge, that saviours the delights of the undulating countryside of orchards, parkland and woodland on the outskirts of the city of Canterbury.
This walk commences through the village and outward on Union Road towards Middle Pett & Little Pett Farms, before reaching Gorsley Wood. We then continue onward through the woodland, reaching a byway at Langham Park Lodge, later to join the Elham Valley Way (EVW) at Redgate Shaw. Upon reaching Kingston, there will no doubt be a pit stop at the Black Robin and opportunities also for our picnic lunch to be consumed.
We return to Bridge along the EVW, on a delightful stretch which passes through Charlton Park, Bishopsbourne & Bourne Park.
Dogs welcome, but on a short lead when required.
Walk leader is Steve Bourne
