Chiddingstone, Hever and Markbeech Circular 6.5 miles

Expect varied terrain as you meander through ancient woodlands, open fields, and quiet country lanes. We will pass through the picturesque Chiddingstone Village, a well-preserved Tudor settlement with historic timber-framed properties. The route also offers classic views of the High Weald's rolling hills and provides opportunities for wildlife spotting. We start from the carpark at Chiddingstone Castle and head out through the Natonal Trust with fine views to Hill Hoath. From here we pick up the Eden Valley Walk towards Hever Village and then south to the high point at Markbeech. Its then a lovely return via woods to Chiddingstone.

We are expecting to return by 1 pm, ready for those who will be joining the ' Bjorn this Way' outdoor concert ( fees apply ) in the Orangery.
