Meet at Sandown Castle. (Parking on roads nearby).

This walk will follow the Saxon Shore Way to Sandwich Bay where we will make our way to Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory. At the Observatory we will stop for about 30 minutes where tea and coffee are available together with toilet facilities.

On route from the Observatory, the group will walk past Mary Bax’s Stone before returning to the start point.
