Edenbridge Chiddingstone the scenic route

We will start this generally flat walk through the River Eden water meadows to Starborough Castle and Marsh Green.  We will then walk through the fields and woods of Christmas Place and Gildridge to Markbeech, taking in the views of the Eden Valley and the Greensand Ridge, then on to Chiddingstone, where we will go through the Castle Grounds before taking our picnic lunch at the churchyard, with refreshments available at the adjacent Castle Inn or the nearby cafe.

We will return to Edenbridge via Bough Beech and How Green.
