Forest Row to Chelwood Gate

We start the walk from Tompsetts Bank CP on the northern edge of Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Course passing Greenhall Cottage, Lavender Platt, Smock Farthing, Birch Grove House with lunch stop at The Red Lion at Chelwood Gate. After lunch we pass the Isle of Thorns on the edge of the forest then the Ashdown Forest Hotel and the Birches returning to the CP
