Herne Bay to Whitstable (and back?) along KCIIIECP

Meet at the War Memorial in Herne Bay Memorial park, plenty of free parking on local roads or a short walk from Herne Bay station for those wishing to use Public Transport. 

Linear walk. We will walk to Whitstable along the King Charles III England Coast Path passing Tankerton. For those that want there is an opportunity to have a meal and/or drink in the Peter Cushing pub or other cafes/pubs, or bring a packed lunch if preferred. Distance from Herne Bay to Whitstable is 5.5 miles. Those that want can walk the 5.5miles back to Herne Bay or there is the option of returning, or going home, by bus or train. 

The route is mostly flat on paved surfaces with no stiles. Although there are no toilets at the start there are some at Herne Bay station and also some not far along the route of the walk.

Approx finish time 16:00hrs (or earlier if returning by public transport).
