Hildenborough to Ightham Mote and back - 10 miles

Join us for a lovely roam through the quiet lanes, woodland, fields and country paths between Hildenborough and Ightham Mote.  Its more of a quirky figure of eight rather than a 'properly' round circular but well worth the pastoral views. and historic Tudor house.  It is likely to be muddy in parts now that the rain has arrived but the terrain is mostly flat.

The walking pace is aimed at an average of 2.7mph - 3mph with a couple of stops.  The luncheon break is planned at Ightham Mote's cafe where they serve decent hot drinks and cake to supplement your packed sarnies.  For those with NT membership this may permit a very brief entry to the house.
