Lamberhurst to Goudhurst

From Lamberhurst the walk goes by Finchcocks and Smugley Farm before a longish climb up to Goudhurst church. About 5 miles. 

Lunch is at the Star and Eagle just down the hill from the church.

Picnickers can find seats around the church or can walk down the hill to the pond by the crossroads.  If their lunch needs a lift, the excellent Weeks bakers and tea room will be worth a visit.   There are public toilets in Balcombes Hill - turn left by the pond.

After lunch, the walk passes Crowbourne Farm with great views and Spelmonden before a short climb to Lamberhurst church and back to the start.
