Lawn Bowls Evening - Members Only Event

Lawn Bowls Evening Wednesday 19 August from 6.30p.m. at Knockholt Lawn Bowls Club  

A reminder that we have been invited back to Knockholt Lawn Bowls Club. For the second year running they have kindly allowed our group exclusive access to their bowling rinks plus use of the clubhouse for the evening of Wednesday 19 August. .

For those who didn't attend last year it is an unique opportunity to try out a sport suitable for anyone who can still bend their knees. There will be some tuition at the beginning and a chance for some practice bowls before the competitive part of the evening begins (there will be medals again!!). For those who did attend, lets hope we improve on last year!
   
The bowls club is in a beautiful setting in the centre of Knockholt (see link to the website below). We will also have access to the clubhouse and the club bar will be opened in our honour with very reasonably priced alcoholic and non-alcoholc drinks available.
You can bring something to eat or alternatively fish and chips can be ordered and delivered from the local chippie. There is plenty of car parking space in the club's carpark.   

So a date for the diary. Ideally we need 24 competitors, but there is plenty of room for those just wanting to spectate. So please contact Duncan Gager at duncangager1@yahoo.co.uk if you are interested in either playing or watching.
