These are potentially Lost Ways if we do not get them recorded.\n\n## How It Works\n\nThe project relies on volunteers performing field research and historical documentation work. Three volunteer roles are available:\n\n- **LWR - Lost Ways Records Research Volunteer**: Searches historical records to support path claims, with much work available online\n- **LWF - Lost Ways Field Research Volunteer**: Visits candidate locations to photograph conditions and gather local testimony\n- **LWV - Lost Ways Route Volunteer**: Combines both roles to complete comprehensive research on individual routes\n\n## Get Involved\n\nThe project depends entirely on volunteer participation.
