Mark's Matfield to Capel Circular - 9.5 miles

Walk off all that Christmas food with a lovely 9.5 mile walk. Starting from the village green in Matfiled we head west and then north to Capel. We make a stop at St Thomas a Becket and it's famous 13th century wall paintings and a short walk to Kent College near Pembury. Our return to Matfield takes us through the orchards of Pippins farm and back up to Matfield. Lunch will be a brief picnic stop enroute but a  beer in the pub afterwards is always an option.
