Meopham-Coldrum-Stansted

A circular walk in the North Downs taking in some scenic countryside and a megalith. Starting from Meopham Green we will make our way towards the North Downs scarp slope to Coldrum Long Barrow, dating to 3985-3855 BC and with commanding views of the valley. Passing Trosley Court, we then climb back up through Trosley Park, stopping for lunch in Stansted. We return through some open countryside, passing through Hodsoll Street. Please bring a picnic or possible refreshments at Black Horse Public House in Stansted. Not suitable for dogs.
