Paul L’s Cranbrook to Bedgebury Circular

Starting in Cranbrook, this 12 mile circular walks heads South and West through rolling countryside to Bedgebury Forest. A large amount of the walk is on the extensive forest trails, although we also pass through some nice orchards and huge amounts of blackberries (assuming there are any left!) Lunch stop is at the Bedgebury Pinetum visitor centre after 7 miles, where there are toilets and a cafe. The cafe can get very busy at weekends so I recommend you bring your own picnic rather than rely on being able to buy food. The walk has been graded moderate but there are a few hills. Sorry, this walk is not suitable for dogs.  There is a pub (The George) close to the car park, for a post walk drink or late Sunday lunch.

The meeting place is the car park in the centre of Cranbrook, just off the High Street and by the Co-op. When you turn in from the High Street, dont park directly outside the Co-op on your right. Carry on a few more metres and take the next opening on your left into a very large car parking area.
