Paul S’s Ardingly Circulars Including Balcombe/ Ouse Valley Viaduct and the Borde Hill Estate 7.5

We start from Ardingly Reservoir Carpark where there is free parking, and head West along the Ouse Valley Way, passing under Balcombe/ Ouse Valley Viaduct, and return via the High Weald Landscape Trail through the Borde Hill Estate, a grade 2 * park and gardens, where Rhododendrons and Azaleas should be in flower .Picnic Lunch by the side of Ardingly Reservoir . After lunch we walk along the bank of the reservoir climb past the Church, through the village and join the High Weald Landscape Trail which takes us through the grounds of Ardingly College back to the reservoir.Optional drink in one of the two pubs in Ardingly afterwards.
