Platt Woods, fields and lanes

Join us for a Spring walk starting from Platt Church with a climb through the churchyard into Platt Woods and along woodland sections of the Wealdway, interspersed by quiet lanes. On leaving the Wealdway, we'll cross open farmland with views of the North Downs and the seven 'Grey Ladies' oast houses. After the hamlet of Crouch we'll take the lane to Claygate Cross and down Plough Hill to Basted Mill. We'll return to Platt via a steep bridleway alongside Long Bottom Wood.
