The walk offers \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\tglimpses of the surviving moat and on the island the \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\tornamental pavilion built around 1754 using material \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\tfrom the original castle.  The present Victorian \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\thouse dates from about 1880.\n\n### Eden Valley Walk\n\nThis 15 mile walk starts at Cernes Farm and follows \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\tthe Eden and Medway valleys into Tonbridge.
