Scenic North Downs from Snodland to Trosley via Harvel

This is a collaborative walk with a local fellow-rambler guide, taking in the loveliest views and beauty spots.

Leaving the Community Centre, we take the track behind the cemetery with views of the Snodland countryside including cornfields, a local lake, and Birling in the distance. Heading up through woods and  along grassy slopes, we reach Harvel Pond where we stop for a short water and snack break. We continue to Trosley Country Park and eat our picnic outside Trosley Countryside Cafe where, if required, we can buy a hot or cold drink, or maybe an ice cream! After lunch we go to the scenic Holly Hill viewpoint and pick up the Pilgrims Way back to the start.
