Smugglers, shipyards and gunpowder

A level walk starting and finishing in the old town of FAVERSHAM, using the Saxon Shore Way and the Swale Heritage Trail, to form a circuit inside the Faversham Creek and the Oare  Creek.  Most of the walk is on a grass embankment with a little more than 1 km on roadside pavement and attractive town streets. Extensive boat moorings and wild fowl on the creeks add interest to the walk. No stiles.
