An undulating walk from Ightham Mote (6.5 miles)

A walk highlighting the variety of landscape near Sevenoaks. We set off from Ightam Mote, the National Trust lovely old Manor House, heading west towards Rooks hill and onwards towards Carters hill. This leg of the walk provides some lovely views to the south as we walk along woodland paths. Then its downhill, heading south, to Underriver before we turn east towards Shipbourne. Our route to Shipbourne takes us through a mixture of woodland and open fields. From Shipbourne we head north, back towards Igtham Mote before turning west and for a short walk back to our starting point.
