Walk Around Speldhurst - Where The Sausages Come From

A walk around the Speldhurst countryside. Starting at the George and Dragon pub known for its excellent food and superb bitters. There is a large car park where we are asked to double up, one behind the other. We walk along part of the Wealdway admiring some  of the medieval houses and various out buildings. We head towards Bullingstone and thence on towards the Medway which we follow for a little way, then towards Poundsbridge a particularly attractive village. We are now deep into the Speldhurst countryside walking through meadows and woods, your sensory feelings will be mesmerised by the variety of sights. By now we will be contemplating our refreshments at the pub upon returning to our start point in Speldhurst village. There are very few stiles and some moderate climbs.
