A Walk Back in Time - a 5 mile circular walk from Dunks Green - Saturday 24 June

Starting at the Kentish Rifleman pub in Dunks Green, we walk East on the Greensand Way, then turn North through orchards to Gover Hill. Climbing this into Hurst Wood, we eventually turn left and descend to Old Soar Manor. This is a mediaeval knight's house dating from 1290 owned by the National Trust - it is free to look around. After a short break to take this in, we go into Plaxtol village, then return across fields to the start. Very few stiles, a little quiet road walking.
