Weald Village circular

A relatively easy and varied walk starting from Sevenoaks Weald village, following the Greensand Way, climbing past Wickhurst Manor up to the Goathurst Common woodland, enjoying the superb views over Bough Beech Reservoir to the High Weald.

We then drop down from Boar Hill to the Bough Beech nature reserve where we will have a picnic break after 4 miles while we admire the bird and plant life. The route then takes us across the reservoir causeway, with further opportunities for waterfowl spotting, before we climb up towards  Bore Place and then through fields and woods back to Sevenoaks Weald where those who wish may take refreshment and/or lunch at the Windmill. 

The walk has been graded as moderate as there is a steepish climb up to Goathurst Common, otherwise it would be graded as leisurely.
