Yalding - East Peckham - Nettlestead
We cross the railway line and follow the Greensand Way past a large Deer Park and out to Roydon Hall, which was built in 1535 and was once owned by George Harrison. We then head up to the ancient church of St. Michael which dates from the 13thC. From here we head down the quiet lanes of Old Church Road and Park Road where we will see the old arched folly in the grounds of Mereworth Castle. We Then head to Nettlestead and down to the River Medway, passing the old church of St. Mary on the way. We will then walk along the banks of the Medway back to Yalding.
